College Induction Day (2nd September 2021)
This is my second year doing creative media in the college. I am doing Level 3 and last year I did level 2. The induction day started at 9:15am and the day ended at about 4pm so it was a long day. During the day we filled out forms, received our timetables and were shown what we are going to do this year.

Today I created app designs on a program called Adobe XD.
10 September 2021
Today we used cameras to record a film.
13 September 2021
Today we created a storyboard of opening scenes from the movie Black Panther. We created a paper version and then we created one using a website called studiobinder where we added screenshots from the youtube video of the scene.
Week 3
Today we watched different ads such as the iPhone advert and the Lucozade advert and typed up what the advert is about, the music used, the way it's edited and how the camera is used.

Today we chose which artist we chose for the app we are creating. We created a moodboard of images related to the artist and typed a description of the artist.

Spotify
Target Audience
Spotify is a music streaming application which has a target audience of ages 13-65 and both genders. Spotify is an app used internationally.
Style
Spotify uses the colours green, white and black throughout the app. The font they use is Gotham medium. The image of the app is a green circle on a black background. It has three lines in the circle and the image is pretty simple.
Content
The app is useful as it has a lot of features. It recommends songs for you in the home page such as songs that are related to what you listen to and suggests artists for you. It has a search feature making it easy to search songs or artists. It also has a library page to show your playlists that you made and songs you've liked.
Usability
The app is easy to navigate as the app has a home page which shows your recently played playlists, shows songs from artists you listen to and shows music that is made for you. It has a search feature where you can search for songs, artists and playlist. It has a library of all the playlists you have created and your liked songs.
Negative features
Unless you have the premium version of the app which is paid, you can only skip songs six times per hour and when you go to a playlist, it shuffle plays a random song instead of you being able to choose a specific song in the playlist, you cannot download songs for offline listening and on top of that you get adverts before you can hear the songs.

Soundcloud is an audio sharing platform which has a target audience of ages 13-65 and both genders. Soundcloud is an app used internationally.
Style
Soundcloud has colours orange, white and grey throughout the app. The font they use is Interstate bold. The image of the app is a white cloud with an orange background. Half the cloud has vertical lines.
Content
The app is useful as it has a lot of features. It recommends songs for you in the home page such as songs that are related to what you listen to and suggests artists you should follow related to artists you listen to. It also shows the charts of the music that is currently trending. It has a stream page where it shows the recent posts of artists and reposts. It has a search feature making it easy to search songs or artists. It also has a library page to show tracks you liked, playlists, people you follow on the platform. You can also tap on your profile and see tracks you uploaded if you have uploaded tracks or reposted tracks. You can also see your insights to see how many people have listened to your tracks
Usability

I filled out my Contingency Plan, Risk Assessment and Legal and Ethical.
In the contingency plan I filled out the possible problems I may come across during my production and how I can find a solution so I am prepared.
In the Risk Assessment I filled out the possible hazards that can happen during filming such as tripping over loose cables, camera could fall or there could be a power cut.
In the legal and ethical I filled out the laws that I should consider during my production such as copyright or discrimination.
11 May 2022
I started to film my short film. I shot the film in the boxing gym in the college where there were students and I filmed the students and they acted out for my short film. What went well during the shoot is that I got the actors to act out my film very well. What I could have done better with my actors is that I could have filmed it in a better environment like a gaming environment.

I finished editing my short film and started my Evaluation. I edited the film on a program called Adobe Premiere Pro. I chose that program as it was an advanced editing program as it has the ability to add overlays on top of the video and has the ability to colour grade which is what I did in my film. I used my previous editing skills to make my final short film. What went well during the edit is that I edited the film without any problems or errors.
